Arjun Global were excited to attend the Net Zero Festival today on 22nd October 2024, at the Business Design Centre in London. We were amongst thousands of senior business executives, investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and campaigners for this two-day event, to explore how to navigate the defining economic, political, and technological trends of the age. The key question was being asked – how can we work together to accelerate the net zero transition?
In 2021, the UK government set two interim targets: to reduce carbon emissions by 78% by 2035 and to run a net zero power system. 113 countries and over a third of the world’s largest companies have also set net zero targets. Today’s discussions are all about how to accelerate that goal with clean tech and renewable energy.
Going by the impressive footfall and keynote speakers, the event it set to make a big difference, to inspire creative ways to tackle the climate crisis, celebrate real examples of action that is already making a difference, and most crucially, to connect organisations and people who can accelerate the progress we all want to see.
A huge well done to the hosts, BusinessGreen, the UK’s leading green business media brand and a source of news and analysis for the green business community that reaches over a million readers a year.
At Arjun Global, a key part of our mission is to work with organisations who are improving the world we live in, both in the present and for future generations to come. Many of our partners, including Go Dharmic, Yada Yoga, and LOVESPACE, are actively contributing to sustainable solutions and shaping a better tomorrow.
We’re looking forward to seeing the outcomes of this inspiring event!
